Inland Edgemaster Glass Foiler

The Edgemaster Glass Foiler applies copper foil tape to all edges of stained glass. It is the only foiler engineered within the last ten years. It has improved upon the best features of other foilers currently available. For example, the application wheel crimps the foil automatically while it is being applied. A tension wheel prevents the foil from unraveling when foil isn't being drawn. The foil application wheel has a small diameter so that tight inside curves can still be foiled. An adjustable foil backing peeler can be moved close to the foil to assure the backing is consistently removed. The foil rolling wheels are positioned such that they will overhang a workbench or table, allowing easier foiling of all sizes of glass and more alternative foiling positions.

Pattern shears for Foil

Pattern shears for Foil patterns. These scissors make cutting of Foil patterns easy!
Both copper foil and lead came take up space around your pieces of glass. If you don't compensate for this now, you're project will "grow" ending up larger than its original dimensions. This is especially troublesome if your making a piece that will be installed into an opening such as a window or door. Pattern shears have three blades that automatically remove the right amount of the pattern to allow for the copper foil or lead came. This allows your glass pieces to fit together properly. Because the amount of space taken up by foil and lead differs, pattern shears are made in foil and lead versions. Make sure that you use the right one for your type of construction.
