Notes on Colour Accuracy from Kokomo Glass Company
- The glass images on these pages were scanned from 2 inch by 3 inch pieces cut from sheets that are about 15 times larger. Please remember that this is a hand-mixed product, and variation is not only to be expected, it is one of the hallmarks of the way we make glass.
- Monitors vary widely. For best results, you should be viewing these pages in as close to True Color as possible.
- To get the most representative images, some were scanned with reflected light, and some with transmitted light. Most of the single color cathedrals and streakies were scanned using transmitted light, and most of the opals, opalumes, and pinks were scanned using reflected light. As with everything, there are exceptions, most of which should be noted on their respective pages.
